Changes to Controlled Drugs Accountable Officer (CDAO) from 1st September 2024

Following the re-organisation of structures post ‘Creating the new NHS England’ process, and the successful appointment of Bhavisha Pattani to the role of Director for Patient Safety & System Improvement in the Midlands, there have been changes to the ICBs covered by our CDAOs.

From 1 September 2024, the following arrangements will be in place for geographical cover:

 

West Midlands   East Midlands
Amit Dawda will be the CDAO for West Midlands and cover the following ICB areas:   Samantha Travis will be the CDAO for East Midlands and cover the following ICB areas:
 

  • Shropshire
  • Staffordshire
  • Birmingham & Solihull
  • The Black Country
  • Coventry & Warwickshire
  • Herefordshire & Worcestershire

 

   

  • Leicestershire
  • Lincolnshire
  • Northamptonshire
  • Nottinghamshire
  • Derbyshire
