Vacancies for Community Pharmacy Services Implementation Leads

Community Pharmacy Sandwell are seeking one or more Service Implementation Leads to support the provision of community pharmacy services across Sandwell, particularly Pharmacy First, but also other services provided by pharmacy contractors.

The roles will be sessional, with postholders working between one and four half-day sessions per week, depending on availability and location, with the key aim of increasing the uptake of community pharmacy services including Pharmacy First Service , Blood Pressure Check Service, Smoking Cessation Service, Pharmacy Contraception Service and Discharge Medicines Service.

Candidates will ideally have extensive experience of community pharmacy services, and desirably experience in another pharmacy sector (general practice or hospital for example), however we welcome all applicants with the necessary experience, communication and organisational skills to undertake the role.

The roles will be on a sessional, self-employed basis, or can be undertaken through reimbursement via your current employer. Initial engagement will be for a period of 6 months, however the posts may continue until March 2025.
